W&S assists Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach LLP in acquisition of Bridgeport practice – May, 2011
The NYC based law firm of HPM&B LLP, which specializes in medical malpractice defense work acquired a similar practice, based in Bridgeport, Connecticut, led by Madonna Sacco. HPM&B already has offices in White Plains, NY, Stamford, CT, and Garden City, Long Island. W&S provided guidance during the negotiations and helped develop the formulaic based profit sharing model. Further, W&S provided tax and financing advice necessary to complete the acquisition.
